Kristin Kaio
Kristin Kaio’s education career started as a student in the public schools of both Springfield, Virginia and Camarillo. She continued her education at U.C. Santa Cruz where she received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and Masters Degree in Education and California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (go banana slugs!). She transitioned into teaching in 2010. Before CAPE, she taught at La Mariposa Elementary School in Camarillo, and at MATES Charter School in Thousand Oaks. She joined the CAPE community in 2011. Mrs. Kaio enjoys the creative license that the CAPE’s charter offers to both its teachers and students. Her favorite part of teaching is the yearly journey she embarks on with each of her classes, navigating the curriculum to ensure the growth and progress of each student.
Kristin, her husband, Clint (a 7th grade teacher at Las Colinas), and their two young children live in Camarillo. Together they enjoy exercising, making music, reading, camping, hiking, and adventuring with their little ones. Back to Faculty page… |
